We are starting to see the knock on effect of building supply chain shortages which has the potential to cause delays in receiving materials for some elements of the build. The main delays at present are around laminated posts for decking and handrails and some fencing materials. To try and mitigate this the builders and other contractors involved in the project are ordering with plenty of lead in time (where possible) or look at alternative material options, if there is a known supply shortage.
