This week we shine the spotlight on Shop Zero to acknowledge the support that social enterprise Nuku, in collaboration with Rotary and several others, have given to assist flood affected residents. Shop Zero was founded for the purpose of receiving and distributing donations of household items, clothing, and comfort items for our Tamariki. Nuku have put together hundreds of care packages for people in our community. Unfortunately the planned Christmas Picnic in the park has been cancelled, due to the current situation with Covid; however one of Santa’s little helpers informs us that the Christmas Spirit is still alive and well in Westport. Stay tuned for more info next week!
